When students came back to school on the Chinese Lantern Festival Day, they were happily surprised! By everything!
Welcomed by our president Mr. Peng, vice president Mr. Pan and their dearest teachers, whom they hadn’t seen for ages, students were greeted by the lucky red pockets. They couldn’t wait to see what were inside —— a customized bookmark, standing for more hard work and better academic performances and some chocolate, symbolizing for sweetness gained. Holding the gifts, students filled the campus with laughter and energy.
The head teachers also prepared another round of surprises for their beloved kids in the classroom, which had already been well decorated. Students are longing to start the fruitful new semester!
What all the students couldn’t believe was that the surprises didn’t end in the classroom! They then participated in various outdoor activities, where they enjoyed traditional festival performances and played interesting games.
A new year is meant to be a new start, of self-improvement, of self-development and of dreams! Wish every kid a wonderful Year of the Ribbit!
