On March 27^th, we enjoyed a great honour of spending the afternoon with Mr. He Jingtang, a renowned Chinese architect and the head of the architecture program at the South China University of Technology's school of architecture. He delivered an inspiring lecture to the audience in school and online, with the theme of “Creating a Wonderful Chapter in Life with Wisdom and Efforts”. In the 2-hour lecture, Mr. He shared his life and work with the students like a friend, using his own stories as examples to demonstrate the beauty of dreams, life, diligence and persistence.

“Lectures by the Great Minds” is a new course developed by our school while given by outstanding people from all walks of life, with the intention of helping our children set their sights on wilder dreams. It’s part of the bigger plans of “10 Must-Dos in 3 Years” and “5 100%”, which are carried out to cultivate well-rounded students. We’ve also learned from Professor Liang Yongnian and Mr. Zhang Jingzhong in this course. Let’s look forward to the next collision of thoughts with more great minds!
