In 2019, the STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education program was successfully introduced into our school. To better develop the program, on May 27, 2020, Li Xidong was invited to our school to share his experience and ideas about STEM education. He was the director of Chinese Radio Sports Association; vice secretary of Guangdong Electronic Sports Association; vice president of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao STEM Education Alliance; secretary of STEM Education of Guangzhou Youth Science and Technology Association; and a pillar teacher in science and technology education.

During the meeting, Mr. Li shared his ideas about teacher training and practical use of the educational goals. He also gave us an insight of combining different subjects and designing courses in STEM education programs, which was quite inspiring for all the teachers present.
