On October 23, the "academician class" of Guangzhou Tianshan Experimental School was relaunched. In respect for academicians and thirst for knowledge, all senior high school students gathered in the lecture hall of the school to take the ideological and political lessons brought by Li Liejun, a foreign academician of the Russian Academy of Engineering, a special government allowance expert of The State Council, and a well-known metallurgist and materials expert in China.

Academician Li Lijun, as an expert in the field of metallurgy in China, has not only made outstanding achievements in the academic field and education field but also has unique insights in life experience. With the theme of "The ideals and struggles of young people in the new era", he interacted with students. Through rich cases and colloquial language, Academician Li Lijun explained to students the research in related fields of metallurgy and the history of Chinese steel development, broadening students’ horizons and enhanced their cultural confidence. He delivered a message to the students: "have great ideals, love the country, hold high responsibility and morality, undertake brave struggle, and sharpen skills."

In his concluding speech, Professor Mo Daoming, president of the school, expressed his sincere thanks to Academician Li Lijun on behalf of the teachers and students of the school.
