With the intention of promoting ethnic culture in modern sports, our school held the 18^th sport festival by creatively combining the two elements. In the opening ceremony, the performances of each class featured one of the 56 ethnic groups in China, which were a total feast to the eyes. The torch was passed from students to the vice president Mr. Pan and was finally lit by the last torch bearer, our president Mr. Peng. With the flame burning, the atmosphere was pushed to the climax and Mr. Peng announced the commencement. During the sport festival, students and teachers rose to the challenge and surpassed themselves. Let us sweat and enjoy the sunshine!
